Conference Theme

The International Conference aims to invite innovative and action-oriented solutions seeking applied geographical research to the comprehensive analysis of such issues with a particular focus on recovery and sustainability. Multidisciplinary deliberations will pivot around understanding complex and holistic interconnections between the human and the physical world in its geographical set up of place, space and region. The conference will also aim to make robust recommendations based on different policies and programmes being implemented for achieving the goals of recovery and sustainability. In this regard, India’s presidency of G20 provides a perfect context and is a step to build global cooperation towards healing, recovery and harmony between human and natural systems. The present conference is thus an excellent opportunity to provide a platform to all the stakeholders for sharing experiences, best practices and lessons learned, existing gaps and challenges and ideas pertaining to socio-cultural and environmental concerns in sustainability under its flagship.

Presentation of papers is by invitation only. For list of invited speakers please refer to the conference brochure.
