Prof. Subhash Anand

Dr. Subhash Anand is Professor at Department of Geography, Delhi School of Economics, University of Delhi, India. Having the experience of more than 20 years, he has devoted most of his time in research and advancement of teaching in various capacities at various levels of higher education. Given the wide applicability, he has been teaching a wide variety of courses. Dr Anand is an executive member of IGU Commission of Geoheritage since the beginning. His research interests include rural- urban environment; sustainable cities; geoparks. He has been severing as member of International editorial board of International Journal of Geoheritage and Parks. He was the head of Indian delegation to University of Hiroshima. He has supervised many Ph. D and M. Phil students. He has contributed several research papers and articles in various reputed journals and books. He has participated in many international conferences, workshops and seminars.
